Arrest made in Cranbrook shooting  Dec 19, 2007- TONIGHT ON GLOBAL TV - A man who was on the lam after the shooting of a 39-year-old Cranbrook woman was arrested Tuesday night at his brother's house and charged with murder. Cranbrook RCMP had issued a warrant for the arrest of 48-year-old Cheyene Learn, after Tammy Lee Ellis was found dead in a home in the 1500-block of 5th Street North at 11:26 p.m. Monday. When police arrived, they found the dead woman and two witnesses. Cpl. Chris Faulkner said police kept a watch on the homes of the suspect's family and finally found him coming out of his brother's house Tuesday evening (6 pm MT). He was arrested without incident.
