Since April
1, the
Southeast

As the

some of our
crews have
been
deployed to
busier fire
centres in
the
province.
A few
fires of
note
include:
A 116

dis-covered

in the
Beaverfoot
River area.
This fire is
burning in
an old cut
block and is
located in a
remote area.
Most
recently,
there is a
lightning-caused
fire burning
in a remote
area near
Horne Creek.
The fire is
210 hectares
in size. No
structures
or
communities
are at risk.

Currently
there is no
campfire ban
for the
southeast;
how-ever, we
are
monitoring

SIX DAY
OUTLOOK:
Risk of
thunderstorm
activity for
Friday
afternoon
and evening.
Upper winds
could bring
smoke from
the Cariboo
and Kamloops
fires to the
northern
regions of
the
Southeast
Fire Centre.
Saturday now
appears to
be the
favoured day
for showers,
with the
extreme
north most
prone. An
approaching
trough and
cold fronts
could
produce
significant
winds on
Saturday
bringing
smoke to the
rest of the
region.
Sunday is
fore-casted
for
unsettled
conditions.
A
southwesterly
flow with
unsettled
conditions
is expected
for Monday
and Tuesday.
Unsettled
conditions
are
forecasted
for
Wednesday as
well.
