TMTV/BCTV Kootenays June 8, 2010 - (RCMP Release) Castlegar RCMP are investigating a missing person complaint. 19 year old Zachary LARSEN was last seen in the early morning hours of June 6 2010 after an evening out with friends. He was reported missing on June 7 after he failed to return home or show up for his work shift.

Zachary was believed to be wearing jeans and a plaid shirt. He is approximately 6'1, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have received several calls on this incident. The latest information received is that Zachary was last seen downtown Castlegar heading towards the Millenium park area at approximately 5 a:m on June 6. At that time, he was wearing shorts and a t-shirt ( colors unknown) and carrying a black re usable bag with clothes in it.

On June 7th, Search and Rescue searched the Columbia river area, and the helicopter has also been out searching.

On June 8th, based on the information that LARSEN was last seen possibly heading towards Millenium park, Search and Rescue have again been called and will be searching that area today.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of LARSEN or has any further information, they are asked to contact the Castlegar RCMP.

The search will continue Wednesday June 9th with updates to follow.
